About Breaking Bad
Breaking Bad is an American television series from creator and producer Vince Gilligan. The series ran from 2008 to 2013.
The series was released by Sony Pictures Television and was shown on the AMC channel. In the United States the first season aired in 2008. The leading roles were played by Bryan Cranston, Anna Gunn, Aaron Paul, Dean Norris and Betsy Brandt. The series is set in Albuquerque, the largest city in the state of New Mexico. In the autumn of 2013 AMC aired the last eight episodes of the fifth season.
Several details, which initially have little or no meaning, appear to be important later in the series. The series has won two Golden Globes and sixteen Emmy Awards, among many others.
Walter White is a chemistry teacher, who turns out to be terminally ill. Walter has lung cancer and it seems that he will not live long. To make sure that his family does not end up in a financial crisis after his death, he switches to a life of crime. With the help of Jesse, a former failed student in his class, Walt makes the decision to make and sell the drug crystal meth (methamphetamine).
About Better Call Saul
Better Call Saul is a spin-off prequel series of Breaking Bad which started airing in February 2015. It takes place about seven to four years before Saul was introduced to Walter White in Breaking Bad.
Five seasons have aired so far, with a final sixth season coming in 2021.
Metástasis is a Columbian remake of Breaking Bad. It is a shot-for-shot remake of the American show, in Spanish. Rather than taking five years to air the series, it was broadcast five days a week between June and September of 2014.
About El Camino
El Camino is a spin-off sequel movie to Breaking Bad, released on Netflix on October 11, 2019. It is written and directed by Vince Gilligan and stars Aaron Paul as Jesse Pinkman.
